Founded in 1983, SALCO PRODUCTS, INC. designs, manufactures, assembles and distributes a variety of plastic and metal products used in tank cars, hopper cars, containers, locomotives, liquid and dry bulk trailers. Many SALCO products are installed on transportation related assets as they are newly constructed or in the after market as they require repairs and general maintenance. SALCO's innovation has allowed us to design retrofit modifications to current equipment or components to keep them operating at a fraction of the cost to replace them. The acquisition of Hazarsolve has further broadened SALCO's product line to include patented loading and unloading systems for use in corrosive environments. The addition of Amfab, LLC has also provided SALCO the opportunity to serve the locomotive industry with a full line of components.
